Lilac Beauty

Regular visitors to the island are doing some moth trapping at Bridgend Woods and phoned me this morning to say 'Come and see our Lilac Beauty - a first for Islay!" Naturally I couldn't resist and was delighted to find Nyree and her parents all busying themselves round a home made garden moth trap lab. I was sorry I only had time to photograph this Lilac Beauty and not stop to admire the many other specimens they had already put in tubs. Thanks Nyree!
