Sundews

Common sundew - prostrate round leaves

Great Sundew - Drosera anglica

Non-viable hybrids between the two carnivorous plants are common, but I think this is the real thing.  The Great sundew (sometimes called English sundew) is much less common nationally, although it is still quite widespread on Islay in very wet acidic boggy locations.  These were pictured near Bun-an-uillt on Sunday.
