Visitors to Islay will be familiar with the wind-shaped wood at Lyrabus on the way to Gruinart. Here it is after last week's storm. The wood consists of oak, beech, birch, sycamore and other trees which before the storm were all showing bright green. The wind has certainly done some pruning this year.
