Today is the last day at the Centre for our manager Mark Shields who is going back to the RSPB at Loch Gruinart as a volunteer. Even though he is not being lost to Islay, and we hope he will still be lending us a hand now and then, he will be sorely missed.
You have been a great presence about the place...
Many thanks Mark...
Cheers
Carl

Do not stand at my desk and weep;
ReplyDeleteI am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my desk and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
It's not too late to apply for the goose counting job, Mark - honest! Where others have failed I'm sure you will succeed : )

No chance, I can barely count to 10. Plus Pete would never speak to me again if I got it!
