2013 Design a Butterfly winner

Congratulations to Daniella Murray, age 6, of Bakewell who is our 2013 Design a Butterfly winner. Paul Kirkland, Director of Butterfly Conservation Scotland, was this year's judge of our competition. He said he was very honoured to judge the competition and that it was a difficult decision but he thought this 'party' butterfly was 'great fun'. A Greenbug Production Scottish Wildlife Colouring Book is winging its way now to Daniella. Well done!

Design a Butterfly Competition

Well done to Innes Baker, aged 4, of Elderslie who won our 'Design a Butterfly' competition this year. Here is his creative and colourful winning design. Thanks to all who entered. It was a tough competition once again with many wonderful designs to choose from. Thanks to Fiona MacGillivray of Greenbug Productions for judging the competition and donating the prize which will be winging its way to Elderslie soon.

Milly Duncan is our Butterfly Winner!

Congratulations to Milly Duncan of Glasgow, aged 7, who has won our Design a Butterfly Competition. Fiona found the task of judging very difficult as we have had some beautiful, imaginative entries. Well done to everyone who entered. We hope you had fun designing your butterflies. Milly has won one of Green Bug Production's excellent activity packs. Well done Milly! Here is her winning entry. Design a Butterfly Competition

These are just a few of the entries for our 'Design a Butterfly' Competition which we are running for under 16s at the Centre this year. The competition will be judged at the end of September by Fiona MacGillivray of Green Bug Productions and the lucky winner will receive one of her excellent Discovery Packs.
