I don't know what it is though there are several possibilities. A good starting point when identifying stalked fungi is whether they have a thin membraneous ring round the stem. So, perhaps you would like to walk back to Kinuachdrach for a a side-on photo, please :-))

Further thought. Given the bright yellow colour and the time of year, they could be Chanterelles. Absolutely delicious to eat!
