Not Home Alone

I had an e-mail from "Auntie Betty" at 03.47 today to say that she had just seen an adult Barn Owl come in to the nest box with a mouse. The youngster has been quite active today, preening itself!

    Good old Aunty Betty, what would we do without her?! Thanks Margaret, I was about to head up there with an owl costume and a packet of Co-Op sausages
